À la fin du mois de mai dernier, le spectacle a été créé dans sa version anglaise à Vienne, dans le cadre du WienerFestwochen, au Brut im Künstlerhaus : www.brut-wien.at/start.php Nous sommes très heureux de l’accueil chaleureux qui nous a été réservé et nous avons très hâte de présenter la pièce à nouveau. Une tournée Européenne est prévue au printemps, notamment en Scandinavie, en France et en Allemagne. Nous serons également à Montréal au printemps 2011. Nous vous tiendrons au courant des dates précises aussitôt qu’elles seront confirmées. It warmed our heart to see that it has been so warmly received. We are looking forward to present it again. We are planning a European Tour in Spring, mainly in Scandinavia, France and Germany. Work with Jonathan Parant and Alexandre St Onge has been more than exciting so far and we already witness the unfolding of a very musical and poetic piece. We are having this fantasy of making a recording of the play we’d like to offer on a CD or online. Notre ami, Markus Luchsinger (14.5.1955 - 30.7.2009) personnalité importante du paysage théâtral suisse et allemand, est décédé à l’âge de 54 ans. Directeur artistique du Theater Chur, Markus est décédé subitement après une crise cardiaque cet été lors de ses vacances dans le sud de la France. Pendant 11 ans il fut le directeur du Zürcher Theaterspektakel. Il a ensuite déménagé à Berlin ou il a programmé pendant quatre ans la partie théâtre et danse du Berliner Festspiele et a été fondateur du festival Spielzeit Europa. En 2006 , il est retourné en Suisse pour diriger le Theater Chur. Là, il a pu développer un programme international audacieux et indépendant et jouir d’une grande liberté artistique. De Zurich à Berlin à Chur, Markus a été pendant plusieurs années un grand ami et un fidèle supporteur de notre travail. L’an dernier en septembre, nous avons bénéficié d’une résidence à son théâtre pour travailler à L’Invisible et nous y sommes ensuite retournés pour présenter Jimmy. Il avait accepté avec enthousiasme d’être coproducteur de notre prochain spectacle Me talking to Myself in the Future, et nous avions un projet de résidence à son théâtre cet automne. C’est avec incrédulité et grande tristesse que nous avons tout récemment appris son décès. Le monde perd quelqu’un de bien ; Markus était un homme intègre d’une grande intelligence. Il nous manquera énormément. Nous tenons à exprimer notre sympathie à tous ses collègues et amis, à son épouse et aux membres de sa famille.
Nous sommes maintenant de retour à Montréal, après un séjour formidable à New York où nous avons présenté notre spectacle “Jimmy”. Très bientôt, nous poursuivrons le travail de création de notre futur spectacle “Moi qui me parle à moi-même dans le futur”. Parallèlement, nous sommes à préparer une tournée de “L’Invisible”, dont nous sommes très fiers dans sa forme finale, après le grand succès remporté lors de notre passage à Montréal au mois d’avril dernier. Bientôt nous vous informerons des dates et des villes que nous visiterons au cours de l’année qui vient.
Notre séjour à New York tire à sa fin malheureusement, parce qu’on est vraiment bien ici. New York adore Jimmy qui est cette semaine le Choix de la Critique !
